Strengthening connection, trust & the human side of our work
Make room for the work between us.
Three learning experiences. Each moves from looking inward, to our relationships, to a practice we can carry forward.
Facilitation design review
A strong relational arc, with clearer pacing.
The Google Sites draft establishes a useful progression: looking at myself → looking at my interaction with others → visioning and going forward. The revised agendas retain that progression and give each experience a visible start, finish, and participation mode.
| Training | Source flow | Recommended adjustment |
|---|---|---|
| Connection & Belonging | 30 + 60 + 75 + 60 = 225 minutes. Lunch sits inside Part 2. Breaks and a closing are not explicitly timed on the draft site. | The updated plan keeps the 30-minute opening, 60-minute self-reflection, 75-minute relationships section, and 60-minute visioning/closing. A 10-minute morning break and 5-minute afternoon reset complete the four-hour day. Lunch stays 12–1; the closing includes Easy to Be With. |
| Meaning & Purpose | The uploaded document contains a revised two-hour Zoom plan, despite the four-hour document title. | Adapt to the requested 180 minutes. Expand reflection, equal-turn listening, and integration. Include 15 minutes of screen breaks. Use Zoom, chat, breakout rooms, and the booklet. |
| Humanity & Authenticity | 30 + 60 + 75 + 15 + 60 = 240 minutes, with no lunch placement. | Fit the learning into 10–12 and 1–3. Place lunch explicitly and use two 10-minute breaks. Prioritize scenario practice and observable agreements over additional optional activities. |
What helps the site work in the room
- One active training at a time. Participants see the current sequence rather than three long, expanded agendas. Jump links support facilitator navigation.
- Prompts stay visible; preparation stays tucked away. Expand facilitator notes while planning, or use Presentation view to hide them during screen sharing.
- Predictable participation. Each block names writing, pairs, groups, or whole-group conversation. Passing, private reflection, and seated participation remain available.
- Integration has a protected place. Each training ends with a manageable action and a closing, rather than an unfinished activity.
Check before delivery
- Preview the Brené Brown and Simon Sinek clips, select exact excerpts, and fit playback within the allotted blocks. Resource links are retained from the draft; access and playback have not been verified.
- Confirm participants can open the reading documents and worksheets without requesting access. The draft’s existing links are retained.
- Confirm the selected Touchstones wording and book chapter references against the handouts you distribute. This site highlights selected practices; it does not reproduce the complete Touchstones.
- For groups up to 60, prepare table groups and a Zoom producer. Equal-turn pairs and triads help preserve participation; whole-group closing rounds need a written alternative at that size.
- Review the revised timings together before use. These are proposed facilitation adaptations, rather than a transcription of an approved final agenda.
Branding for the series
The supplied Training One workbook establishes deep navy, leaf green, white lettering, contour textures, and a bold title paired with a softer script. This site uses that palette with large readable prompts and a quieter layout for projection. The original workbook image is available above for coordinating handouts.
